Bangladesh is currently facing a major refugee crisis. More than 745,000 Rohingya refugees including 400,000 children have fled to Bangladesh in fear of severe violence & persecution

They are now either homeless or reside in over crowded makeshift tents, with very little food or water to survive on.

The coronavirus pandemic has exacerbated existing difficulties for the 860,000 Rohingya refugees & thousands of destitute Bangladeshis.

The second lockdown in Bangladesh pushed an estimated 32 million people into poverty.

For those already suffering from crisis & instability, the outbreak has posed additional threats to their survival & imposed a catastrophic impact on every aspect of their lives. With no hope in sight many have been pushed to new extremes & in the struggle many have lost their lives.
